After a short business meeting and overview of databases available at the Library,  we will adjourn to the Library's Computer lab members will provide help and insight in researching the genealogy databases available on the Library’s computer system.

Michigan In Perspective - The Local History Conference to be held in the John Lewis Student Center on Macomb Community College’s South Campus. Following Friday’s daytime sessions, a special reception will be held at the nearby Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores. See noted website for program brochure and registration.

This presentation will show how Google can be a great asset to genealogists in finding books, finding images, translating languages, and mapping locations.  With some tips on using  Boolean search techniques, you will soon be breaking down some of your brick-walls and enhancing your family stories.
