Marshall, MI Marriage and Death Newspaper Notices
Marshall, Michigan was settled in 1830 and named for John Marshall, the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. These marriage and death notices were abstracted from Marshall newspapers. Many of the townships of Calhoun County had their notices published in these newspapers. Announcements of marriage and death are not limited to the geographic region where they are reported. Often, notices are published about former residents who have relocated to other areas of the state and elsewhere. Many times, notices were placed about family members who lived in other locations. This volume is not just a Marshall Michigan reference. It provided a great deal of non-Marshall research information as well. Marriage Notices are presented first. Death Notices follow along second. A full name index completes the work. Published in 1997, soft bound, 180 pages, indexed. Marguerite N. Lambert, index by James N. Jackson
